Thistle and Thorn Carnival Glass Sugar and Creamer set

Thistle and Thorn Carnival glass set. Marigold colour.  It is listed online as a Sugar and Creamer set but I think it was originally used as a strawberry and cream set instead. 

The Thistle and Thorn pattern is an interesting design. It is somewhat of a mystery to experts as a maker is not attributed to it. It is believed to only have been made in the 'Marigold'  and varies only in the shade and depth of the colour. Experts date the set from the 1920's to 1930's.

Has some fading on iridescence and black marks on feet but otherwise in nice condition. The jug is approximately  3 1/2 inches high, approximately 3 1/2 inches wide, approximately 5 inches long across the top. The bowl is approximately 5 1/2 inches wide and approximately 4 inches high.
